Interested in trying out for the 2010/2011 season? There will be an informational meeting at El Capitan in the gym during Lunch time on October 6th.  Come with questions and bring some friends.  Everyone is welcome.  Check out the tryouts page for more details.
 
 
Congratulations to the 2009/2010 teams on a very successful season.   
                Major Milestones:    
    • Coach Bruce Donner and Berrick Rastok lead the El Capitan JV squad to an record of 16-3-3 overall.  The JV team also placed 2nd in the Grossmont Holiday Tournament.
    • 1st JV League Championship in the last 14 seasons at El Capitan!
    • As MVP, Chad Smith scored 21 goals for the JV squad setting the record for single season goals scored.
    • Alumni Night was an amazing event despite the drizzle.  Classes from 1976-2009 fielded 2 alumni teams for a very competitive round-robin alumni event.
    • The Varsity team managed to win more games this year than the last two seasons combined finishing 8-12-2 overall and 2nd place in league.
    • The Varsity team also placed 2nd in the Grossmont Holiday Tournament for the first time in over a decade.

CONGRATULATIONS to the El Capitan Boys Varsity Soccer team. They placed second in the
2009 Grossmont Holiday Tournament after losing in the championship game 2 to 0
against San Dieguito Academy. 
 
 
 
CONGRATULATIONS to the El Capitan Boys JV Soccer team. They placed second in the
2009 Grossmont Holiday Tournament after losing in the championship game 2 to 1
against Torrey Pines.

Congratulations to the 2008/2009 teams (Varsity, JV, and Frosh) on a very successful season.   
                Major Milestones:    
    • First ever Frosh team coached by Berrick Rastok - Lead team to first ever El Capitan Freshman win 1-0 against West Hills (Goal by Kris Duperron).
    • Bruce Donner lead the El Capitan JV squad to an undefeated season on their home turf.  The JV team also advanced to the semi-finals in the Grossmont Holiday Tournament.
    • Alumni Night took on a new meaning this season as classes from 1984-2008 fielded 2 alumni teams for the first ever round-robin alumni event.
